Notes: The Basic Air Riflery Instructor (BARI) training course is for individuals who wish to teach the Student Air Rifle Program (SAR), a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to facilitating an introduction to the lifetime sport of target shooting to students in grades 4 – 12. The BARI course is broken up into two parts. First, you must successfully complete the online training portion by visiting https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SARBARI. At this course, you will need to watch a series of videos and complete a quiz with a score of 80/100 to move on to the in-person BARI Trainer led Skills Session. There are 12 videos for a total of approximately 98 minutes of video instruction. You may access the video playlist at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLn1_34n6D4pgKaUL4lvj0KeRegMCfiPm2. You are only allowed to take the quiz once and once you start the quiz you are unable to save progress. Your score will be calculated once you finish. Please make sure you have watched the video content to ensure you are ready to take the quiz. At the Skills Session, you will review and put into practice the material you learned online in addition to an opportunity for you to teach part of the material to your BARI peers. Participants must attend the entire Skills Session to become certified. Successful participants will receive Basic Air Riflery Instructor (BARI) certification through the Student Air Rifle Program (SAR).
