Notes: The Basic Air Riflery Instructor Trainer (BARIT) training course is for individuals who wish to train instructors to teach the Student Air Rifle Program (SAR), a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to facilitating an introduction to the lifetime sport of target shooting to students in grades 4 – 12. Participants must attend the entire session to become certified. Lunch and drink provided; please contact us with any dietary restrictions. This is a free training class and attendance is required for the entire course (all three days) for certification. Successful participants are required to pass two comprehensive written exams and will receive Basic Air Riflery Instructor (BARI) and Basic Air Riflery Instructor Trainer (BARIT) certification through the Student Air Rifle Program (SAR).
